I love cooking it plain and then filling the rest of the bowl with fresh berries, bananas and/or peaches, toasted almonds and plain yogurt. Only I don't ...I'm obsessed with that oatmeal, too! Only I don't do the quick oats (it only takes about 10 mins to do the non-quick one, so I cook it while drying my hair and putting on makeup). I make it with 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup milk (skim), 1 TBSP ground flaxseeds (hippie), 1 TBSP cranberries, 2 tsp maple syrup. Half an apple chopped up and mixed in makes it yummy and crunchy.<BR/><BR/>Mmmmmmmm. My blender broke, so I'll have to wait to try the hippie shakes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
