Do You Know What I Love? Volume 1

1. When you're thirsty and you drink really cold water and you can feel it going down your throat to your stomach.

2. Fresh lemonade (I just discovered this last summer and I can't believe how much I love it) - bonus points if it has some fun herb in it like lavender or mint.

3. Clif Bar's new Maple Nut flavour.

I love lemonade fresh or not!

Number 1 I am hesitant to give full approval because one time after a soccer game I downed a FULL 2L water cooler. It was a hot day and it felt so good to swallow. However then I started feeling my cells expand and when I leaned over to take off my cleats water seriously came out. Like a barf, sort of, but no gag, and just water not stomach acid. That was the last 2L chug for me! I'm surprised I'm still living, actually.

Very delicious drink from one of the Deborah Madison cookbooks:

4 cups white grape juice
1 orange, thinly sliced
Handful of basil leaves

You put the grape juice in a pitcher, layer in the orange and basil, and chill. It's good as is or you can add seltzer water.

1. Cold water going down your throat; my take; gaaaah! Pain - the ice-cream headache kind of pain!

2. Fresh Lemonade; my take; I am you, before last summer - I have never had it.

3. Clif Bar's new Maple Nut Flavour; my take; Whats a Clif Bar?
